The much awaited Indian Ocean concert happened at Vapour recently. The contemporary fusion music band from Delhi, which rose to fame in 2000 with their album “Kandisa” performed to a packed house.
As the band came on stage, the crowd cheered them on and threw song requests at them. Addressing the audience, Rahul Ram said, “We haven’t planned what all songs we will be singing tonight, so all of you present out here, bring in your requests.
We will sing all those songs.” And much to the excitement of the fans, the band crooned to some of their favourites like “Kandisa”, “Ma Rewa”, “Des Mera”, etc.
Salama Yamini, head IMC (Indian Music Conference) said, “IMC 2011 is going to be the biggest event for the hardcore music lovers. It will have everything, from most distinct music genres to new artistes, showcasing their talent to entertain the audience.”
